This privacy policy explains how Vivid Software Solutions (ABN 11 662 451 489, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. It applies to our website at https://vividsoftwares.com.au and to enquiries and engagements arising from it. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Contact details you provide (name, email, phone, company) when you submit an enquiry.
- The content of your enquiry message.
- Information collected automatically when you browse the website, such as IP address, user agent, referrer and pages viewed.
- Information you provide as part of an engagement (subject to a separate agreement and where applicable, a Data Processing Addendum).
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
- To send you information about your project or account, including invoices and notifications.
- To keep records required by law, including tax and accounting records.
- To improve the website and our services through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently run web analytics. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.
The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on the contact form. Turnstile is privacy-friendly and does not require user solving in most cases.
Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information to trusted service providers who help us operate the website and run our business (for example, email delivery, accounting, payments). Where these providers are located overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information in line with the APPs.
Storage and security
We host this website on Cloudflare Workers. Operational data is held in reputable cloud services in Australia where practicable. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including access controls, MFA and encrypted storage.
Retention
We retain enquiry records while we are in active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) so that we can follow up on your enquiry. Records required for tax or accounting are retained for the period required by Australian law.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to delete it where we are not legally required to retain it. To make a request or to raise a privacy concern, please email privacy@vividsoftwares.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
