Accessibility statement

Our commitment to building accessible digital experiences and how to give feedback on accessibility issues.

Last updated: 7 May 2026

Our commitment

We aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this website and on the websites we build for our clients. We design for keyboard use, screen readers, colour-contrast and reduced-motion preferences from the outset, not as an afterthought.

What we have done on this site

  • Semantic HTML landmarks and a "skip to main content" link.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • High-contrast text, validated against WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Forms with explicit labels and error messages tied to inputs.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images and aria-hidden on decorative graphics.
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion in CSS animations and view transitions.
  • Resizable text up to 200% without breaking layouts.
  • Mobile-first responsive design that works at 320px wide.

Known limitations

We test on the latest versions of major browsers and on common assistive technologies. If you encounter an issue, please tell us. Specifically, we are aware that:

  • The hover-revealed services menu in the desktop header collapses to an inline mobile menu below 960px. Both work with keyboard navigation.
  • External links are marked with an icon and announced as opening in a new tab.

Feedback

If you cannot use part of this website, or you have suggestions for improvement, please email friends@vividsoftwares.com.au with the subject "Accessibility". We aim to respond within five business days.

Standards

We aim to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard accessibility expectations where applicable.
